Dr. Loan Mao is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist and Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She completed four years of dental studies at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. During her years in Buffalo, she volunteered her services to rural communities in the Dominican Republic and Mexico, servicing over 200 patients including children with special needs. Realizing her passion for treating children, she went on to obtain a specialty degree in pediatric dentistry at the University of Southern California. She also completed one year of extensive training at the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles in treating children with special needs such as autism, cleft lip and palate, cancer, varying syndromes, and blood disorders.

Dr. Mao’s practice philosophy is centered on providing a safe and fun dental home for children, while maintaining excellence in dental care. Her goal is to offer every child a nurturing and caring environment so they may grow into healthy adults with no dental anxieties.

Dr. Mao is an active member of American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, and Ninth District Dental Society.

Outside the office, Dr. Mao loves spending time with her husband and keeping up with her 3 active boys! She also enjoys traveling, cooking, and experiencing new culinary adventures.
